Story

Our two directors Mike Sharkey and Andy Coley along with Chris Joynt, then Dave Lyons and Paul Barton from Wigan Council and the estates team from Wigan College have arranged with the Archdiocese to take all parish gifts and emergency supplies to The Archdiocese in Poland under the guidance of Bishop Gregory Komar.

This is an amazing gesture that will see GP hiring three 7.5 ton vans packed with generous gifts from the people of Liverpool and surrounding Parishes!

Greenmount Projects are also in the process of raising £10,000 via Just Giving, with a fun run with Wigan & Leigh College and University Centre on Sunday 20th March.

We have all donated internally and have raised £1800 this week WOW well done Team GP!!!!!!

The vans will be packed by volunteers at LACE and such an amazing feeling to be helping the Ukrainian appeal with our trusted and generous partners the Archdiocese of Liverpool.

The guys will set off on the 27th March after mass at the Liverpool Archdiocesan Centre, and the Archbishop along with Bishops will be Celebrating mass and blessing the team!

We will be creating a daily blog and a Tracker to highlight the progress and where they are at any one time. From Liverpool to Folkstone, ferry across to France, over the border to Belgium then arrive in Poland over 24 hours later!

Much needed love and supplies will be directly delivered by the GP team and we will be announcing the other team member's next week as we have a host of volunteers which is absolutely fantastic to see.

Safe journey guys and we here at GP will be in Liverpool to wave you off!
