Unfortunatly one of my close friends Stuart Dixon was recently diagonsed with huntingsons disease which will and already has taken a massive effect on his and his familys life.

I will be taking part in trying to raise as much money as possible by running 5miles everyday from dec 1st untill the 26th dec when my last run will be the boxing day run which takes part in clevedon, i will have to run everyday in a different fancy dress costume around clevedon.The money i raise will be going towards a honeymoon for Stuart and Hannah and also a huntingsons disease charity.

Huntingsons disease is an inherited condition that damages certain nerve cells in the brain. The brain damage gets progressively worse over time and can affect movement, congnition (perception, awareness, thinking and judgement) and behaviour. Early features can include personality changes, mood swings, fidgety movements, irritability and altered behaviour, although these are often overlooked to something else. There is no cure for huntingtons disease and its progress can't be reversed or slowed down.
