I've raised £3000 to fund raise towards my expedition to Tanzania & Malawi, Africa for Operation Wallacea. Helping the local people and conservation in the area.

Hello Reader,
In approximately 9 months (July 2018), I will travel to Tanzania and Malawi, Africa, to participate in a project which will aid in the preservation of Lake Malawi and the wildlife that are in it. We will also work with the local people and explore conservation issues and sustainable fishing and farming.
Through Operation Wallacea, I will partake on 'The Great Rift Valley' expedition. It is a 2 week expedition and during these 2 weeks we will be tackling poaching in the Liwonde National Park, diving in Lake Malawi in order to learn about the wildlife that live there and finally researching into how the 3rd largest lake in Africa is home to a wider diversity of fish than the Great Barrier Reef!
Although July 2018 seems a long way off, I have a very big challenge ahead, needing to raise a big total of £3,000 (I have already raised £1000). Right now this seems enormous but I'm confident with lots of hard work and help from family and friends, I can get there.
I will be peppering the following months with many events, in order to raise the full £3,000, such as; sponsored bike rides (i'm planning on completing the Coast-to-Coast this summer - 140 miles), family-fun nights, bake sales, bag packs and much much more.
Most of this fund needs to be in by end of this year, hence the need to start now!
Thanks for reading, please feel free to donate as much or as little as you'd like. Every little helps!
Michael :)
