I've raised £500 to help families who have lost or are battling the fight against Dementia. In loving memory of my HERO Eileen Borris 💓

Dementia. They say you lose your loved one twice. First when they forget you, then when they pass. Sadly this was the case for me. 3 months ago I lost the most imporatnt person in my life. My Granny. She goes by the name Eileen Borris.
My Granny was my hero, my best friend, my saviour. Growing up she showered me with endless love and constant laughs. She was a larger than life character who loved her family and everyone loved her. She would do anything for anyone and was always there when you needed her. If I could be half the woman she was, I will win at life. She truly was one in a million. A living LEGEND.
It broke my heart watching her slowly deteriorate in the end. A pain that I can never describe. A pain that will never go away. I feel like a part of me is missing and life just isn't the same without her. Her last words to me were I Love You, promise me you'll look after everyone. A promise that I'll keep until the day I'm reunited with her.
I will be taking part in Sober October and then we will run a 5k on the 1st of November in aid of Dementia Uk In loving memory of my Granny. Let's raise awareness and help families in need together xx
