Whilst away over the weekend my dear friends house was robbed. Thankfully, her most prized possessions (the kids and the dogs) were with her at the time but this didn't stop the knuckle dragging lowlife from rifling through their whole house and taking a load of "material" stuff that had been hard earned and well loved. (none of which is insured)

The knowledge and feeling that their personal space had been violated makes my blood boil. How dare they! The thought of those scumbags rifling through their home is nauseating.  However, despite all that, to have intangible things like their safe space, their dignity and their happiness robbed from them -- is far more infuriating.
  
Whilst the emotional impact of these strangers entering their home uninvited of course outweighs the physical losses of their stuff being taken they could still do with replacing some of the items that have gone.

It would be great if we could all club together to help them replace some of the stuff that's been taken. Thank you.
