Story
Michael was our brother in law, he was kind and would do anything to help you. We tragically lost him to suicide on Christmas Day 2021. He was just 39 years old and we all miss him, especially his 7 year old daughter.
Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50. We honestly believe that with the right help Michael would still be with us today.
We are raising money for The Jordan Legacy charity whose mission is to be at the forefront of the advancement of health and the saving of lives for the public benefit; specifically the advancement of mental health and preventing lives being lost to suicide. https://thejordanlegacy.com/
On May 7th 2023 Paul and I, along with the support of some friends, are going to run a marathon in memory of Michael. The Hardmoors Wainstones Trail Marathon is 28.5 miles long with a lot of elevation, 5600 feet! 1 year agoWhat an amazing and emotional day we had yesterday, running in memory of our bother in law Michael. We hope we did him proud. We set off from home at 6.15am in pouring rain but by the time the race started at 8am it had almost stopped. Thank you to everyone who came to support us during the race and for cheering us on over the finish line. It really helped us to keep going when we needed it the most. Also a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us. It took us 7 hours 27 minutes to complete the 28.5 mile course xx

1 year agoToday we ran our final long training run. Nearly 17 miles with a similar elevation to Snowdon. Only 28.5 miles to do 3 weeks tomorrow. Thank you again for all the likes, shares and donations. It really means a lot to us.

1 year ago6 weeks tomorrow we will be running 28.5 miles in memory of our brother in law Michael and to raise money for The Jordan Legacy. Today's training run was 11 miles with a pork pie at the end! Thanks to everyone who is supporting us xx
