I've raised £40000 to buy a static caravan for respite for people who have a lost a loved one to suicide.

On the 18th of July 2020 my partner Michael Doherty passed away. Despite having no signs of depression or mental illness on that day our lives changed forever. Like us all Michael had his hopes and dreams. He'd worked for several local farming contractors and wanted to invest in a pipe system to spread slurry and set up his own business. He wasn't a negative person, he never let anything get to him. He was laid back and he was always smiling no matter what.
Michael left a lasting impression on everyone he met and was so loved by all his family and friends. Michael's family and I will not let Michael just be another statistic and in his memory, we are setting up a charity called "Michael's Hope Haven". This charity will be for those who have lost a loved on to suicide who may just need some respite. The aim is to raise enough money to buy a static caravan which will be solely for our Charities use.
