Dementia is a terrible brain condition that can destroy the memories, abilities and character of the people we know and love. It is becoming more and more common and creates heartbreaking situations where a people can no longer function properly in their own brains.

The wonderful people at Lancaster University have been making excellent progress creating a cure for this disease. They have made grest strides, and need our help to push further.

We can stop our loved ones from having to go through these awful ordeals, we can make sure thay all have healthy, fumctioning brains, right the way through life.

As someone who works closely on issues of the mind and the brain, this is a cause very close to my heart. I am running my first ever marathon, pushing my body to its limits to raise as much money as possible to give to this fantastic cause.
