On Friday 28th of March 2025, my soul mate and husband, the father of all of my children, Andrew David Whittle, heartbreakingly passed away unexpectedly whilst on our 40th wedding anniversary trip to Bali. We were due to fly home on the 31st of March to reunite with all of our children after a once in a lifetime trip together.

As a family, this news has completely broken us and we cannot believe that we are now being made to navigate life without him. There are no words that translate quite the same to explain how we are all feeling.

Those who knew my husband Andrew, knew how lovely, genuine, kind, caring, giving, and selfless of a man he was. He gave his last minute to anyone who needed it and there honestly isn’t a person on this planet who is on parr. He was such a special human being, who went through so many struggles of his own, but always fought bravely through everything life threw at him. Not long ago, Andrew received devastating news that he had got cancer, and as a family, we were told to prepare for the worst. But still, Andrew fought and stayed strong, and he won the battle. We all sighed with relief and thought “life truly is too short, cherish everything that you can”. So with Andrew’s second chance of life, we as a family, made such a special bond whereby we almost wrapped Andrew up in bubble wrap and did our best to always protect him, even when in some instances he was more than capable to manage things on his own. So now to be hit with such horrendous news, our worlds feel truly broken.

As plenty of you will already know, with this kind of devastating news, comes devastating costs, and we are crushed by the idea that we may not be able to give Andrew the send off that he truly deserves. So in memory of my amazing husband Andrew, we are asking you to please join us on us a sponsored 7k run/walk, to raise money to give Andrew the best memorial piece for his grave of which he deserves. 7k for his seven children.

The sponsored 7k run/walk is starting at Crooke Hall Inn on the 12th April 2025 at 1pm. We would be so grateful if you could help us, to do this last thing for Andrew, as he did absolutely everything for everyone else.
