Story

My Dad was admitted to the Belfast City Hospital with acute renal failure on 10th March. After spending several weeks there a scan of his chest showed a mass in his right lung. A bed became available in the Macmillan Unit at Antrim Area Hospital and Dad was transferred there on 3rd May. Sadly he passed away on 16th May. The palliative care he received while in the Macmillan Unit was excellent. The staff are amazing. I want to raise funds for the Unit to show my appreciation for everything they did for my Dad and us as a family.
