Story

Our story began in my late teens when i started getting cysts on my ovaries leading to me being admitted to hospital every 3-6 months then later resulting in 6 operations over 5 years, 2 of which included having both my ovaries removed. The condition that claimed my ovaries is called Endometriosis, meaning i would never be able to have a baby without the help of IVF (egg donation).
In Nothern Ireland the legislation currently states that you can have one cycle on the NHS, so in 2015 with the help of my amazing sister donating her eggs we had that cycle although sucessful at the beginning sadly at 9 weeks i had a heart breaking misscarriage.
Over the recent years i struggled with this resulting in bad depression, so with this and the physical issues from my Endometriosis i have struggled to keep a job. Though with help from my family and friends i have got back to my old self and with that Cormac and myself want nothing more than to give IVF another try as everyday we long for that little family of our own and this is were we need your help. We need £2000 to put with the money we have already saved to hit the £10000 cost, we just need that last push to get there.

Thank you for taking the time to read a short part of our story.
