On Saturday 3rd December, me and my mum will be doing a charity abseil to raise money to help Frankie, (aged 4) and her family fight this horrible disease.

Hearing the words 'your child has cancer' is every parents worse nightmare. Sadly, these are the words that were given to Sandra and Dave in October when a tumour was found on Frankie's bladder. Frankie is currently having chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumour and then after Christmas, doctors will operate to remove the tumour. After the operation, it is looking likely that they will have to embark on a journey to America for 3 months for Proton Therapy. Although the cost of the treatment is covered by the NHS, the cost of flights, accommodation, food, schooling (for Frankie's older brother Finlay) and general living costs will not be covered. We want to raise as much money as possible to make sure Sandra and Dave have one less thing to worry about during this horrible time.
