Story

A number of years ago I had to borrow money to help my daughter with speech therapy as she had problems communicating. There was no help available from either school, NHS or external agency's due to a lack of finance. We took a loan which was arranged by a financial advisor who it turns out had secured this on our home even though he assured us it was a personal loan. We did not learn the grim reality of this until we struggled with repayments due to losing my job. The loan company have piled on fees charges interest to the point that they now have started to go for repossession as the loan term has expired and we still owe them. We have paid the amount we initially loaned plus interest to the tune of £30000 but they are still insisting on more. My daughters health has suffered due to the fact that she blames herself for the position we are in and I am now suffering with Clinical Depression and Phobic Anxiety and Agoraphobia brought about by the stress this oppressive situation has caused. We have been told the only way we can stop this happening is to pay them in full they will not allow any arrangement to be made. We have asked for help from the financial ombudsman but have been informed they can legally do this.
My Daughter cry's at night I am so scared I will find myself on the street I cant sleep cant eat and I am terrified what the future holds.
I made a mistake but all I wanted to do was help my daughter to have a better quality of life.
I am asking please can someone help me raise the funds I need to find peace in my life and my daughters life to draw a line under this and move on to a happy future.
