Story

Following the recent Channel 4 programme Old People's Home for 4 Year Old, we are now looking to hold a number of events for isolated older adults living in Salford. We are aware of many older adults who have so much to offer the children of our community. In turn, we hope to improve the lives of our older adults by offering an opportunity to have a focus of their day. I will be doing the Alzheimer's Memory Walk on the 30th September @ Heaton Park in memory of Elsie Harper, who was a much loved friend, who passed last year after leaving with Alzheimer's. Elsie was a wonderful lady who loved to sing and dance around the piano, I know Elsie would be very happy of the walk we will be doing in her memory. Please donate. To support the cause, as it is so dear to us @ Home Instead Salford, Susan Robinson, has taken the wild decision to complete a skydive on the 21st October, as Susan is now literally going above and beyond and hopefully back down safely, I think we may just deserve a donation for her bravery. Susan is completing her skydive in memory or Margaret Marshall, who passed away in January. Margaret, is missed for the laughs she gave us. I am sure Margaret will be supportng our cause and perhaps having a laugh or three listening to Susan screaming her way down. This really is a worthy cause, please think about donating...........
