Paul and Michelle are an amazing couple who live as part of a busy step family yet still find time to offer so much to their community and country. Whilst Michelle is a teacher, offering free tuition to local children who can’t afford additional support, Paul was a member of Her Majesty’s Forces and supported homeless young people into better futures.

Paul served over 22 years and was forced to ’come outside’ only due to extreme family medical reasons which meant deployment was impossible. This meant he was not able to collect his pension. Those issues have been resolved and Paul is now preparing to re-enter military life.

They are due to marry this August in a very simple registry office affair. However, it is looking increasingly likely Paul will be deployed for 9 months in September. They would both love to have their vows blessed before they are parted and spend a week away together in much needed quality time. They always come last and it would be lovely to give something back to them.
