Story

I'm raising £750 for a children/youth project

My Charity is called James’s Gift.

On the 11/02/2024 my beautiful son James-junior Leyland died suddenly at home at the age of 3.

He was the most loving boy you could ever meet. He lit up every room with his none stop smile and despite James’s problems he never looked un happy

James had a complex range of medical conditions including Autism, Epilepsy and severe sleep apnea.

James had just secured his EHCP and a place in a specialist school which he should have been starting in September 2024. I now work at the school in his place, I did it for James and I absolutely love working there.

the purpose of the charity is to raise as much money as we can through 2025 to be able to buy toys etc (including item donations) then at Christmas 2025 these gifts of toys can be given out on a specific day in December to all family’s with children who are struggling.

This is where James’s Gift comes into the name of the charity. I will keep my boys name alive for the rest of my life.
