As most of you will be aware, we lost our dear Mum/Nan/Friend on the 4th August. Those of you who were able to attend the funeral know that instead of flowers, the family asked for donations to Sandie's chosen charities in her memory. She was always passionate about helping others in any way that she could and as many of you know, Sandie had Macular Degeneration which impacted on her ability to get about, she was supported by Kent Association for the Blind to help her stay involved with things that were important to her. For many, many years, Sandie was also a pivotal member of the patient forum group at Lenham surgery. The surgery have a minibus which is used to deliver medication to house bound patients so the other charity is to help maintain this invaluable service. All proceeds will be split 50/50 and Sandie would be thrilled with any donations for these incredible causes.
