I'm raising £2,000 to install a shelter, like the one in the photo, over the fire circle at Step-Out CIC.

This shelter will allow us to use the site, year round, providing a dry warm place for children and their adults to warm up near the fire.

For those of you who have braved our sessions during the cold winter months, you know the rain can have a real impact on the enjoyment of the sessions. With this money, we will be able to have a structure installed that we can then attached a large, fire retardant tarp to, providing a safe and dry location for all of our participants.

To raise the funds, I am taking part in the "Brave the Bricks" challenge at the Rochester Cathedral on 27 September. I will be taking off my safety boots, and walking across 5 metres of Lego in my bare feet!
