Story
Letheringsett Watermill is Norfolk's only working watermill and is one of twenty four in the UK, The mill produces traditional stoneground flour using the power of water. The mill was lovingly restored by the late Michael Thurlow and is now run by his daughter Michelle Thurlow who continues to work with local farmers sourcing all milling grains from within Norfolk. Unfortunately like all old buildings/structures the mill suffered a major breakdown on Wednesday afternoon where the main sluice gate broke in two causing a flood risk to Letheringsett , this risk has now been diverted but the mill is unable to produce flour until the sluice gate is replaced , Letheringsett flour supplies local farmshops and bakeries but also gets sent across the whole of the UK , if the sluice is not fixed soon the stocks of flour will run out. Any funds left over will go towards re roofing our chain hoist Lucum which is in dire need of replacement
