I've raised £200 to help raise money to go towards a PA system for my local church and half the money raised will be donated to St Helena Hospice

I am taking part in a 30 hour non-stop music marathon that is being held at my local church on the 11th and 12th May. Now don't panic I'm not singing for that long on my own but I am doing two and a half hours, two of those with choirs and one 30 minute stint on my own!! Some of you may know, I do love to sing (I think I sound great in the shower & the car) but doing 30 minutes on my own is quite daunting and I'm already feeling nauseous over it but this is all in aid of two great causes.
The church where the event is being held at, St Peter & St Paul West Mersea, is raising funds for a new PA system to be put in place so that it can be used by the whole community for many events such as weddings, funerals, weekly services etc.
As well as raising funds for the church, half of the money I raise will be going to my chosen charity St Helena Hospice, this place holds a dear place in my heart for those people that use it during their final days. My dearest friends mum passed away from cancer 2 years ago and was at St Helena Hospice at the end, they gave such support to my friend and her dad during and after and I'm sure that the help they received was immensely helpful to them.
So please, even if it's a couple of pounds it will help immensely in both areas that the funds will go to.
