Weʼve raised £5,590 to Purchase Christmas presents for Coventry's looked after children, young people leaving care and other children in need across the city.

Story
Every year the participation service co-ordinate a Christmas gift collection for the looked after children's Christmas party. We are always overwhelmed by the generosity of so many people who donate gifts and help make this event fantastic for the children. This year due to Covid-19 we are unable to hold a Christmas event.
"Covid-19 may have cancelled the Christmas party but we won't let it cancel Christmas"
So we are asking you to donate what you might usually spend on a gift. We will then use your donations to purchase gifts for our looked after children, young people leaving care and other children in need across Coventry. Our social workers and family workers will then deliver those gifts on behalf of you and Santa Claus.
Please give whatever you can to help us purchase a gift for a child this Christmas.
Donations can be made up until 30th November 2020

3 years agoWe have been busy over the last few weeks purchasing over 1000 gifts for children across Coventry and delivering them to social care teams and early help hubs who have made sure they get to children and families in time for Christmas. We wanted to thank every single person who has been so generous in donating and helping us to make sure children still get gifts this year despite there being no gift drop off or Christmas party!! We wish you all a very merry Christmas and big fingers crossed for 2021
