Story

We are running the Great North Run 2018 to help raise funds for the England Amputee Football Team to get them to their World Cup in Mexico in October/November 2018.

Despite all the money in English football, the England Amputee Football Team receive no backing from the Football Association. So each team member and staff are having to raise their own funds to get them to Mexico. Football isn't their full time job.

The team won the AMP Futbol Cup in Poland and reached the final of the European Championships in October in Turkey, losing out to an injury time winner in front of 40,000 spectators (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEW2bYQ4vBM ).

We've had the joy and privilege to work with a number of these guys in recent years and their passion , commitment and desire to make their country proud is incredible.

Each member of the team need to raise £1,500 each to help cover the costs of training facilities/weekends/travel to and from the competition.
