I'm raising £1,145 to purchase a new wheelchair.

Due to my health declining further, I can no longer lift my current chair. It weighs 26kg so I am hoping to purchase a lighter one.

Granted that it’s not often I have to lift it myself but there are occasions where this will happen so I need to be able to lift it.

The funds raised will go to the new wheelchair, a spare battery and a cover for the chair to keep it protected.

I do not like to ask for help and even typing this out now is making me feel like rubbish.

I was the one who worked myself into my current situation. I continued to pushed through systems until my body gave up and forced me to stop. Since loosing the ability to drive and work, I’m continuing to loose.

For the days that I am able to go out and use the chair, I want to be able to do it without having to rely on anyone to get it out for me. I don’t want to be a burden but I cannot lift my current chair at all now.

I’m happy to send receipts to anyone who wants to see them so if I manage to raise the funds, please ask and I’ll show that it went on the new chair.
