Dr Lestner was a much loved GP based at Lingwell Croft Surgery in Middleton Leeds. He was caring, sympathetic and listened to his patients in order to give them the best possible treatment. Since the anouncement of his passing, many of his patients have expressed their condolences, respect and their desire for a memorial to him. Suggestions include: Funding a medical student, a bench dedicated to his memory in the surgery car park, planting some trees, a framed photo and plaque inside the surgery and a piece of medical equipment to be used by members of the surgery.
