Disability support

Story

I'm raising £150 for disability support - Many of you will know that a 2yrs ago I started coaching for an amazing footballing family “AFC Masters” with a focus on the U11 [Tigers].

This is a football club run for children and adults with a disability, based in Bolton. Established in 2005, AFC Masters began when two young individuals (who still play to this day) decided they wanted to start their own football club. Year on year, the club has grown into the huge community that it is today. For the players and families alike, it’s the highlight of the week.

This FA Chartered Standard club runs sessions every week for all ages, gender and ability.

The main focus is friendship and enjoyment. This is a great opportunity for children and the young people of Bolton with a disability, to get together and have fun.

On the 18th May 2025 my Daughter and I will be running the Manchester 10k - probably the first real exercise this 60yr old has done in a very long time.

Your help no matter how large or small will help get valuable equipment for the enjoyment of these amazing people.
