*Short version: Running 10k to raise money for a deaf school in Kenya which is planning to building a computer block. If I hit £300 by the end of Tuesday I'll do the run in my crocodile onesie (pictures in the comments), which will obviously look absolutely ridiculous, so please get donating boys and girls!*

Hello there, and thank you for taking the time to read this!

Over summer I spent 11 weeks living in Kenya (sorry to the many people who have heard that 100 times) and while I was there we had several links to a deaf school in the area I was staying in; my Kenyan host Mum was a teacher there and my team provided business support for 3 entrepreneurs who were schooled there.

The school currently has very few, if any at all, computers and is raising money to build a computer block so the kids there can learn IT skills and massively improve their employment prospects.

So, to try and help out I'm doing the Manchester 'Run in the Dark' 10k next Wednesday night (16th). This target alone obviously isn't enough to build a new building, but the relative strength of the UK economy compared to Kenya's mean these Pounds will go a long way!

And if all that isn't enough of an incentive for you, if I hit £300 by the end of the day on Tuesday (15th) I'll do the run in my favourite (but admittedly only) crocodile onesie! See the pictures in the comments and get donating folks :)

P.S. For anyone who's curious about payment specifics, this money will come to me first via this justgiving page and then I'll transfer the total to the school at the end, either to the headteacher Stephen or another contact.
