Story

My incredible daughter Lilly wants to try and do something to make a difference and help others in need. We talked about options and decided that a sponsored run (50 miles in 30 days) would be a great target. Lilly is not an avid runner, but agreed that with my support that target was attainable... which means I am also running with her. Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate running. But these two causes are really important to both of us. Mental Health is a cause that we have firsthand experience with, and we would also like to do something to help those struggling for the Black Lives Matter movement. Any support would be greatly appreciated. We'll try and keep you updated with photos (mainly of our dog who we're hoping will pull us along) as Lilly isn't a big fan of unnecessary attention, and I fear that my face would put people off...

We are looking to raise money for a mental health charity, and I would like to do something to support the Black Lives Matter movement as I feel it's incredibly important. As someone who has experienced mental Heath issues I know how hard it can be especially in our current situation (during Covid-19). I am going to be running 50 miles within one month, I am someone who does not run frequently so this will be challenging. - Lilly

We'll be raising funds over June and will be splitting any money raised equally between the two charities (Most likely Mind, and the Minnesota Freedom Fund). So any help would be greatly appreciated!
