Day 100 - mission accomplished! I set off 100 days ago to walk 1000km for the Haven Project, I have completed the challenge and reached 1185km as of this afternoon and raised an amazing £2700 - thank you so much to everyone that has kindly donated. I will leave the Just Giving page open for another week for anyone that still wishes to donate. Maybe we can even reach £3000 :-) Today is my birthday, so to have completed the challenge today is also very special. Thanks all for your support, you have all been amazing, now where is that prosecco!

Day 93 Update With just a week to go in my challenge, I’m extremely happy to report that I crossed the £2500 threshold that I set for myself to raise for the Haven Project. Thanks to everyone that has donated so far and for those that still wish to do so, you still have another week to help make a difference for homeless and vulnerable people that really need it. The Haven Project are holding a Spring Fayre on 09 April at the Methodist church in Whitstable, please go along to show your support for this wonderful charity.

Day 86 Update Today, I crossed my 1000km target, 2 weeks early!! Despite this, I intend to continue for the full 100 days in the hope hat I can raise a bit more money for the Haven Project If you have been meaning to donate but just haven’t got around to it yet, you still have time. Haven provides invaluable assistance to the homeless and vulnerable in and around Whitstable, providing showers, laundry facilities, hot food and food parcels plus a warm place to be where someone will listen and provide advice on where to access vital services
