Hi,

My name is Milda and this is my next challenge.

I am hoping to, no, I AM going to spend 12 months volunteering in impoverished countries aiming to teach and work in the social care aspect whilst completely surrounding myself in the community and culture.

I will be spending 4 months in Cambodia working in the local orphanages and helping young children to reach their full potentials as well as immersing myself in the local community and culture and learning about the surround envirnoment

The next 4 months I will be based in Vietnam as a childcare assistant, a slightly different environment to before but again encoraging younger children to be the best they can.

The last 4 months will be spent in Sri Lanka where I will be mainly teaching English and working in a school environment as well as setting up clubs to provide more opportunities.

I aspire to be able to advocate for the minority and learn new experiences and ways of life as well as using my experiences to help others as much as I can. I have faced many challenged in my life, i've grown up in 2 different countries, lived in over 18 homes and been to too many schools, so pushing myself out of my comfort zone is always my challenge. My goal for this 12 months is not only to help those less fortunate but to also develop myself as a person!
