I've raised £65000 to fund Milena's cancer treatment

Thanks for visiting my page, I hope my story will not only tell you about my battle with cancer but also that I have always believed that love and hope never dies even in the darkest and difficult moments of life and that is because of the help of the people who care about others, who have love and mercy and empathy to someone else’s suffering.
Your donation however big or small will help me to continue my battle with the cruel disease, it is not a cry for help, it is a call to help funding my fight, my chance to live and hope that one day, I will be able to do the same for other cancer patients, to help and relieve someone else’s hardship.
My name is Milena and I have an aggressive and rare cancer. Last year I became pregnant and sadly lost my baby and because misfortunes never come alone, during the miscarriage management operation the surgeon discovered that I have a large tumour. I was told that I have a malignant neoplasm of the pelvis, this is despite the fact that I have always been in good health. I could not believe this was happening to me.
After the shock of losing the baby, to hear that I was losing my life too was heartbreaking but I decided to stay positive and fight the illness. I have a wonderful family which gives me so much love and support that I want to live and enjoy life for many more years.
In May 2017, I started 6 cycles of NHS chemotherapy treatment which helped to reduce the tumour considerably but it didn’t cure it completely. The harsh chemotherapy led to my hair falling out and many nasty side effects. I developed a life threatening neutropenic sepsis leading to many days in hospital then at home recovering between treatment cycles.
When I thought that matters could not get any worse, my employer fired me one month after I notified them of my diagnosis and whilst I was away on sick leave. I went from being a healthy person employed as an accountant for a property investment firm in London to being unemployed in hospital facing the worst crisis imaginable.
After the chemotherapy, the NHS oncologist suggested radiotherapy, but on balance there were far too many potential long term side-effects and risks of the radiation, so I have opted for modern targeted non-toxic treatments.
Since October 2017 my tumour appears to have grown again and I need to continue the cancer treatment urgently. In the meantime with the help of my family and friends I found excellent advice from an integrative medicine consultant in Bath who has provided therapy based upon a completely changed lifestyle and diet to include organic vegetable based juices, fruits and natural supplements combined with modern DNA blood tests for more targeted and personalised approach to my cancer treatment.
There are some further life saving treatments that I have been advised to undertake, but they are costly and impossible for me to fund without your help and any donation would be greatly appreciated.
After being ill for a year now I have found a very advanced treatment in Hallwang clinic in Germany which gives me hope for a cure. After initial consultation with the hospital, I need to raise a £65,000 to start with the doctor appointments, genomic profiling tests, targeted treatments and IV drips.
I haven’t given up because I believe that:
“Cancer is not a death sentence, but it is a life sentence; it pushes one to live”
Thank you xxx
