I'm raising £500 to raise awareness and support mens mental health - in aid of EyUp! Charity

Organised by Kirsty Mjadzelics

Story

Josh and Andy are taking on the Wainwright Coast to Coast walk, starting at St Bees in Cumbria and finishing at Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby.

They’ll be setting off on 30th May and finishing on 13th June, covering 197 miles of tough terrain across the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and North York Moors.

They’re doing this walk to raise awareness and vital funds for men’s mental health — a cause that matters deeply to both of them, not only personally but professionally too.

Men’s mental health is still too often overlooked. Many men struggle in silence, feel unable to talk, or don’t reach out until they’re in crisis. Conversations matter. Support matters. Early help can save lives.

This walk is about starting those conversations, challenging stigma, and reminding men that it’s okay to talk and ask for help.

Any donation, big or small, will help raise awareness and support men’s mental health services. All money raised will be going to EyUp! Charity. EyUp! was set up in 2017, by South West Yorkshire Partnership Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, and they support the work of the Trust; making a difference to the community, mental health, wellbeing and learning disability services.

Thank you for supporting the walk, the cause, and the conversations that need to happen.
