Millie Watts

We have some very sad news that Little Miss Millie Watts is battling Leukaemia. Mille has played for Elloughton Blackburn for several seasons with a break in seasons when she was lucky enough to represent York Academy which just goes to show what a little super star football player she is. Mille is the most incredibly talented player and we were over the moon to have her back for the 2020/21 football season representing the U13 Belles Blues again in her blue and yellow colours. Over the years she has become an integral part of our team and has developed close friendships with all the other girls.

We are a very tight nit team and our relationship with the players and parents of players goes way beyond the Saturday morning meet. I think I speak for us all in our team when I say we are devastated for our little pocket rocket Millie and her family and we want to try and make their Christmas a little more bearable by sending them some gifts from us all.

Mille is going to be spending the foreseeable future in Jimmy's in Leeds undergoing treatment which will undoubtably make Christmas a very difficult time for the family, as if that isn't enough with the current Covid restrictions in place as well it means the family are going to spend alot if not all of the time separated.
