In 2013 myself and 12 other girls went on a month long trip to Ethiopia (at the time one of the 10 poorest countries in the world) to host a summer school for primary aged children in a very deprived area of Gonder, since then Girlguiding UK and Link Ethiopia have been working together to further develop our progress there in building a safer learning environment with better facilities and more accessible clean water. The school we will be visiting is not just a learning environment its also a community of people's homes and to provide them with the facilities and education we take for granted so easily honestly means the world to them. For this trip we each in turn must gather our own funds and your donations are so much appreciated, the money we raise funds our trip so we can go out and help, however a lot of it also goes to the school so they can provide themselves with the equipment and knowledge they need to bring up their children in the best way possible.
