Old Harbour Is A Town In St Catherine, Jamaica With A Population Of (approx) 40,000 People. The Nearest Hospitals Are 15 Miles Away. In An Emergency There Is No A & E, There Is No General Medical Hospital Nearby.

Old Harbour Is A Rural Agricultural Area And Needs A Local Hospital In The Town That Provides Accident & Emergency, And Also Specialist Medical Care For Thoracic, Urology, Diabetes, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopadic, Paediatric, Obstetric, Neo Natal, Intensive Care, Ear Nose & Throat, Opthamology And All The Necessary Specialised Equipment That Is Required In A General Medical Hospital.

The Provision Of A Hospital In Old Harbour Has Never Existed And Is Urgently Needed To Provide Medical Care For The People There Who Have Suffered Because There Is No Local Hospital. That Is The Reason For This Crowdfunding.

It Is Hoped That The Hospital Will Be Built Within The Next Two Years By 2018 Depending On Planning Approval.The Land Is Available.The Aim Is To Raise The Money For The Purchase Of The Land, The Building Costs And The Specialised Medical Equipment And Medical Staff.
