In July 2019, I am taking part in a trip to Malawi to help to complete and decorate a dormitory that Cardinal Hume School have fundraised over the last two years to build. This dormitory is being built to allow vulnerable girls to finish their education at Chihame School.

The dormitory will allow girls in the area to stay at school during the week instead of having to travel back and forth, where many dangers await them. The long travel to school makes the girls vulnerable to rape, which often leads to pregnancies at a young age. Once they have had a child, their chances of returning to school are extremely low as they will have to care for their child, even if they are still children themselves.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and will be towards our trip to Malawi, alongside finishing the build and providing resources to be used within the school.

I am extremely grateful to be able to take part in this once in a lifetime trip to Malawi, and look forward to showing my journey along the way.
