On the 3rd of August 2018, My cat Millie had an unexpected seizure which became a great concern for the entire family. The seizures started off small but overnight they became more violent and strong leaving her unable to walk for long periods of time along with other distressing symptoms. After one afternoon of her having another giant attack, we decided to call in the emergency vet to check out what could be going on.

We showed her the video (Linked Below) and she was just as confused and concerned as we were as these started happening overnight. She thought it could be a "Strange type" of Idiopathic Seizure. Everything else was normal but she was given a steroid injection to see if that would have any effect. Although the injection made her seizures less violent she was still having them and eventually they ended up becoming more frequent again. Yesterday (6th August) she had bloods taken to find out the underlying reason, and if nothing is found she will need an MRI. As of now we know that the bloods for her liver and kidneys etc, have come back normal, but we are still waiting to find out the results of the rest of the tests.

Unfortunately her medical treatment is not cheap and we have already spent over £200 in the first few days trying to fund medication/treatment, which is money we barely have. If she needs an MRI she will be sent to a private neurologist & their prices can go up to £4000. We have been debating whether to cancel our holiday so we can get the money back to use for Millie. Although we have some fundraising ideas, We are asking for a helping hand which we never wanted to do unless we truly needed it, but we are running out of options in a short amount of time.

We are asking for help because she is a very important member of our family & helps me with mental health problems and provides emotional support. She is always there for us so its our time to be there for her & we wont give up on her. If you've had to experience a sick pet you know how tough it is and you would go above and and beyond to get them well and healthy again.

We are not asking for thousands of pounds from anyone £1, £5 will help so much in terms of her treatment and bills. And we thank anyone one who chooses to donate.
