Story
Before you scroll…
Some families are carrying more than most people could ever imagine.
Some are caring for children with serious needs.
Some are battling poor physical health.
Some are struggling silently with mental health, dementia, or Alzheimer’s in their homes and in their everyday lives.
This challenge is for them.
It is for the people trying to keep going when life feels heavy.
It is for the families who need support, hope, and real action.
And it is for the communities that deserve better opportunities, better health, and a stronger future.

One Step Can Change a Life
On 1st May 2026, I will begin walking 480 miles from Maidenhead to the summit of Snowdon.
Over 30 days, I will attempt to complete 1,000,000 steps in a challenge that will test me physically, mentally, and emotionally.
This is the inaugural 30-Day Million Step Challenge created by the Million Step Foundation CIC.
But this is about far more than walking.
This is about taking pain, struggle, discipline, and purpose — and turning them into something that can help other people.
It is about proving that ordinary people really can do extraordinary things when the reason is big enough.

Why I’m Doing This
Not long ago, my own health was in a very different place.
This challenge is about transformation.
It is about resilience.
It is about showing that change is possible.
But more importantly, it is about using that change to build something meaningful for others.
Every mile has a purpose.
Every day has a purpose.
Every step is meant to help create something positive that lasts beyond this challenge.

Where the Money Goes
This page supports the work of the Million Step Foundation CIC.
Funds raised will help us:
- Put on free sports camps for children locally and nationwide
- Deliver health and wellbeing initiatives in communities
- Support projects that help people live healthier, more active lives
- Contribute towards supporting other organisations working in areas such as mental health, hospice care, dementia, and Alzheimer’s
The aim is simple: to turn this challenge into real support, real opportunities, and real community impact.

📅 30 days
👣 1,000,000 steps
This is not just an endurance event.

Why It Matters
Too many people are struggling without enough support.
Too many children miss out on opportunities that should be available to them.
Too many families are left trying to cope on their own.
I want this challenge to stand for something bigger than one person walking from one place to another.
I want it to help create access, support, visibility, and hope.
That is what this is about.

Thank You
To everyone supporting this mission — thank you.
This is bigger than a walk.
It is about what can happen when determination is turned into action for other people.
Together, we can prove that one step really can change a life.
