Disability support

Story

Epic Arts is an international, inclusive arts organisation based in Cambodia. They believe in a world where every person counts and where people with disabilities are valued, accepted and respected. Through a series of youth and community projects, they promote the inclusion of people of all abilities and disabilities. They also run a small cafe in the Cambodian town of Kampot to increase work opportunities for people with disabilities and generate vital project funds. Find out more here - http://epicarts.org.uk

This charity is very close to my heart, having recently taken on a volunteer role on their board of trustees. In 2016 I travelled to Kampot and witnessed just some of the many challenges and injustices that many people living in the area suffer from. People living with disabilities are amongst the most marginalised in this society, often not only excluded from education and economic opportunities but also their communities. Epic Arts seeks to address this and promote social inclusion for all.

On 5th May, I will be taking on the Prague Marathon to support their amazing work. They are a small charity who receive very little funding* so any support you are able to give will make a huge difference.

THANK YOU!

* Epic Arts are not currently set up with a charity Justgiving page, meaning funds will have to be transferred manually. Please be assured that I will make sure all funds are safely distributed to them. If you are a tax payer and the charity are able to claim gift aid, please let me know and I will send you a form to complete.
