We are the Milton Keynes Unit of the Sea Cadet Corps. Look at the map and you will see that we are as far from the sea as it is possible to get, but we like a challenge!

We have over 60 Cadets (age 10-18) who take pride in being members of one of the country's top Units. They enthusiastically take up all the opportunities that the Corps has to offer; not least sailing, rowing, kayaking and off-shore sailing. We enjoy a lot of success in competition and have been the Sea Cadets National First Aid Champions for the past four years.

All this means a lot of frequent long distance travel and we desperately need a second, 12-seater minibus to help us provide all of these enthusiastic young people with the experiences they deserve. That way, we can take larger numbers to our boating station and to almost weekly events across the United Kingdom.

We are busy seeking funds from grants and other sources, but we do need more help if we are to reach our target.
