I started Mind in Motion CIC because I’ve seen how heavy life can feel for people—especially when anxiety, low mood, or loneliness take hold.

In my work as a counsellor and positive psychologist, I kept noticing the same thing: many people don’t need something complicated—they just need a safe space to feel human again.

Somewhere with no pressure, no expectations, and no judgement.

That’s where the idea for our walk-and-talk sessions came from.

There’s something powerful about walking side by side with someone. Conversations feel easier. The weight people carry begins to lift, even if just a little. I’ve seen people arrive feeling overwhelmed and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected.

But not everyone can afford support, and many people wouldn’t walk into a traditional therapy setting. That’s why I made the decision to offer these sessions for free—so that anyone, regardless of their situation, has somewhere to go.

Mind in Motion is built on a simple belief:

gentle movement lifts heavy minds.

Your support helps us keep these sessions going, reach more people, and continue creating spaces where no one has to struggle alone.

Even a small donation can help someone take that first step.
