Story
We're raising £1000 for The Grey Dog Trust who are organising a festival in Northampton on Saturday 25th August 2018 with the aim of putting adolescent mental health centre stage. The Grey Dog Festival aims to create a conversation about mental health amongst young people. To bring the subject out of the shadows, challenge the stigma attached to it, so that the barriers to seeking support are removed.
I run an event called Mind Over Matter where we discuss mental health through Spoken Word Poetry and Hip Hop to widen the conversation. The Grey Dog organisers have kindly given us a stage at the festival so we are raising money to cover costs and join them in putting young peoples mental health centre stage.
