People who experience mental ill health have to live with high levels of stigma. 9 out of 10 people in the UK living with mental health problems feel that stigma negatively affects their lives.

These statistics are higher than most places in the whole of Europe.

Who are MindSight?

MindSight is a social enterprise company which was formed in 2017 by students in the heart of North Belfast, Northern Ireland. Using digital and innovative technologies we want to raise awareness, educate and break the stigma around mental health. Each of us have personally suffered with our mental health or we know someone who has, this has made the past year very personal. But it gave us all passion and drive to make a difference.

Our Mission:

MindSight acknowledges the crisis in the mental health sector and is purposed to raise awareness of mental health using modern digital technology and break the stigma surrounding mental health as a whole.

Our Goals:

To increase awareness of mental health in Northern Ireland and the world.

To break the perceived stigmas surrounding mental health and mental illness.

To provide a medium for conversation about mental health and an information point - in the one place.
