Barbuda is almost the same size as Minety with a population in 2011 of 1638 against Minety's at 1414.

The people of Barbuda had to evacuate after Hurricane Irma destroyed almost every building on the Island and even now are only just being able to move aback to start rebuilding their lives. Our initial appeal raised £670 but it is now that our help will be most beneficial. We are aiming to collect £4 for every resident of Minety but any donation, no matter how small, would be of use. All funds collected will be passed through the Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross which is co-ordinating relief for Barbuda.
