Hello!

Olivia Lindsay and Minnie Murphy's Root Productions present Pizza Man by Darlene Craviotto. Olivia and I are co producing and acting in this dark comedy at one of our favourite theatres in London,The Barons Court theatre, in February 2017! We are raising money for the production team which entails theatre space, copyright licence and stage management.

This play is especially important to us as it highlights the expectations society has imposed upon women in the past. Despite its, at times, satirical form, Craviotto reveals the suffering, anxiety and objectification of women in the 80s at home and at work. As the play goes on, we discover the measures some women will take in their desperation for control and respect. Sadly women still face these issues today.

Root Productions founders met while training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, the oldest Acting Conservatory in the English speaking world. This will be the first UK production of Pizza Man. The sharp and witty dialogue will make you laugh out loud, yet it's controversial plot will be sure to turn a few heads!
