Our annual sponsored walk can't go ahead as normal this year due to COVID 19 restrictions, so we are running a virtual event instead. The walk is normally a great opportunity for the school to raise much needed funds for school resources and local causes; and we are hoping that COVID 19 will not get in the way of that this year. Staff and pupils will be encouraged to clock up as many kilometres on Strava as possible from the 5th-11th October. This year, our fundraising will go towards widening access to ICT within the school, and Peterhead's Relay for Life. Due to COVID 19 the demand for ICT resources at Mintlaw Academy is greater than ever. We hope our walk can raise some valuable funds during these challenging times.
