Hey, I’m Minty and I’m raising money to go to Bible college this September.

I’m 16 years old and I’ve been a Christian my whole life. When I was 13 I had my first encounter with God and was baptised the next day.

In August last year I had another encounter with God, where I believe he told me the calling he has for my life, which is to use the art of film to tell people about him, and it changed my view of the world. And from that day it feels like everything in my life has just clicked into place. I began reading the Bible like crazy and knew I just had to go to Bible college.

I started serving a lot more in church and began making videos for our church’s Instagram page.

On Easter Sunday this year I led worship in church for the very first time, and found out that a woman came to church because she saw one of my reels.

And it reminded me, this is the whole point. To bring people to Jesus by doing what I love.

It made me want to go to Bible college even more. In the Bible college I’ll be going to, the students intern in their respective churches, and I’ll probably be interning in Media, so hopefully I’ll be able to help more people make that decision to come to church.
