mirabelle has a severe form of spina bifida, which has left her paralysed her from her waist down. she also has a VP shunt fitted in her head that drains the extra fluid from her brain into her tummy, without this mirabelle wouldn’t be able to survive.

we are raising funds for mirabelle to access the therasuit intense pysio/occupational therapy programme at john hopkins all children’s hospital in florida - in the USA. this will be for 4 weeks! mirabelle will get to work with the worlds best specialists in her diagnosis and hopefully, our wish is to get her to walk.

we are so grateful and feel so lucky she has been successfully admitted onto the programme and she has passed all her medical from her team at alder hey to fly. she really enjoys her pysio at home with her physiotherapist who she has had since she was 6 weeks old, this is a big part of our life, and I feel that she deserves this chance!

she has had to fight against so much since the first day of her life, she really does work so hard to even do the smallest of tasks. she has never let anything get in her way, she’s a very bright girl who would definitely put a smile on your face. we have 6 months to make this dream come true.
