I am Ahmad from gaza city i live in the eastern part of khan yuni.I am 24 years old i was born in a small quiet beautiful village on the border called Khuzas its people were kind and wonderful.I have a beautiful family of a mother 4 brothers and 2 sisters however i grew up without a father who died when i was 12 years old my mother had to take care of us all from that moment on.I grew up blind in my right eye and suffering from retinal detachment in my left eye i also suffer from severe hearing loss.I underwent many operations on my eyes and ears but i didnt improve due to the lack of the necessary equipment to perform complex operations like my case.All this was before the last gaza war which occured on october 7th.After October 7th we were displaced from our destroyed home in my of khuzas more than 7 times.We moved between khan yunis and rafah between UNRWA schools and goverment hospitals there was no aspects of life in these areas .Then we settled in a tent made of nylon and wood and moved it from rafah to Mawasi khan yunis our suffering and many needs were repeated from the difficulty of life in the tent to the lack of any basic life requirements in the area we were displace. We are still suffering until this moment from providing food and water due to severe shortages of everythin. This is my terrifying story in all chapters of a war that is still going on more than 266 days of suffering,displacement,killing,destruction and the loss of my relatives and trying to survive myself with patience and steadfastness despite all the bad.We must not also forget that my house was severly damaged before that in the 2014 war and we restored it again after this war.In the present war it was completely destroyed by the israeli occupation in which my large poor family lived.Now we are homeless and even though the occupation withdrew from my village I cannot return to it as it is the buffer zone defined by the occupation and whoever approaches that area is bombed and killed.The area in which i lived has almost no houses left more than 100 houses completely destroyed in one area alone so how about the rest of the areas in the gaza strip ? Yes its a war against everything people,trees,stones everything was destroyed in gaza.Where are you the the hypocritical world that claims humanity and claims to be democratic yes this war is still on going despite the killings of women,children and elderl.It is a war against humanity and i am still hopeful that all of this will end with the solidarity of the people of Palestin cause .Hope still exsits despite everything.All this is on top of my personal sufferings before the war from losing my sight in one eye to only some sight in the other.To tell you this story and suffering with weak hearing i rely on a stethoscope so that i can hear the cries of the palestines in the gaza strip.I hope that you will support me and support this steadfastness despite the suffering and awaken what remains of your humanity oh world,conscience and humanity if it still exsits at all.
