The Goose & Cuckoo's lovely landlady Susan Finch has run over 28 miles in just over 5 hours along the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal as part of a campaign to raise over £3,500 for charity.
Sue, 65, is aiming to raise the money to send her nurse daughter-in-law Louise and grandson to travel to Uganda to take aid and work with the charity YWAM Uganda, which helps African children who have lost their parents and families to HIV/AIDS.
Monies raised will be used to fund their trip there and buy equipment for the charity's work
Like most crazy ideas the idea to run along to Brecon along the canal was dreamed up in Goose and Cuckoo! This Autumn, Sue plans to follow up her run with a skydive!
