Story
The fire at Mirus on Liberation Day took out £1000s of equipment including generators, paintball markers and garden machinery. Despite the sugnificant hardship this will cause, Phil and the team haven‘t asked for any help and that speaks volumes for what Battletec is all about in Guernsey.
So much is given so that we can always have this incredible sport year-round, for us all to have this community that brings us together and offers something unique for young people to enjoy also. Many people expressed their support for a fundraising option to aid in the recovery of Battletec and the site, which will include new generators, electricals and housing, so this page is here for just that.
Phil did not ask for this but it is here with his permission so please do donate if you wish, any money towards the repairs will be gratefully received. Please feel free to leave names or remain anonymous. Out of respect to Battletec these donations must remain simply that, donations without expectation, despite it ultimately operating as a business. This is the time for us to step up as a community and support our sport. The quicker Mirus is back on its feet, the quicker we can re-run that last double-CTF game and win it for the reds! 😆
